Here we go

I have lived in the Ottawa area for 18 years and have been on a quest to find the best brekkie in O-town. I have begun to realize that this quest is a bit of a moving target. Places open and close, ownership changes, and even the chefs change...sometimes without my knowledge (how dare they)! I have eaten brekkie in many, many different places across the region. Do I have a favorite? Well, yes and no. I have favorite things that I like about some places. But it seems to me something is always amiss. The homefries are mushy. My medium egg was hard. The bacon was cold.

In this blog, I intend to document what I like and don't like about each place I visit. I will attempt to take photos of each meal and end each blog entry off with my rating. This blog is ONLY my opinion and yours may differ. Indeed it most likely will. I will attempt to be objective and tell you what the food is like...maybe you like soggy homefries...I don't know.

So tune in...I'll try to make it weekly. I start tomorrow at Christy's on Richmond Road. I may have a lot to say. It might not be pretty.
